My journey into photography began in 2016, when I walked away from a career in medicine to pursue the thing that ignited a fire within me like never before. Photography became my love language, and I pursued it relentlessly. I told myself at first that I would never photograph weddings, being too intimidated to try. I instead poured thousands of hours into portraiture where I felt myself growing as an artist, and carving my way through to the photographer I am now.

It was during this time that a friend had asked me to photograph their wedding (I denied, promising I’d ruin their entire day), and through much persuasion I was convinced to try. I had never realized before that moment how fulfilling it was to create in a setting surrounded by love, tears, emotion, and family. I discovered the fulfillment I craved, brought on by the joy and appreciation in couples when delivering their wedding galleries. It felt like performing a magic trick, and I haven’t looked back since.

Now looking at the portfolio of images I’ve had the privilege to produce brings me immense emotion because I feel so thankful to do what I do, and so grateful for the trust that has been given to me by the people in those images.
